The Towing & Recovery Operator Certification Program™ (TROCP™) is a national certification program for towing operators developed by two of the industry’s top certification bodies: WreckMaster and Towing and Recovery Association of America, Inc. (TRAA).
The Towing & Recovery Support Certification Program® (TRSCP®) is a national certification program for those employed in support staff roles within the towing and recovery industry. These roles include dispatchers, office managers, administrative staff, scene safety supervisors, compliance directors, non-operator company owners, etc. Despite not working on the roadway, these professionals make a critical contribution to the performance of their operator colleagues and the industry.

Not to worry, the TRSCP now lives at Towcert.com. Anyone already certified at either the TRSCP Entry Level or TRSCP Advanced Level will be able to keep and maintain their certification.
ID numbers that were issued by TRAA or WreckMaster will always stay with the participant.

Preparation for certification comes in many forms: training, professional experience, and/or written resources. For operators preparing for the TROCP, we recommend attending a training that corresponds with the level of certification you are attempting. Appropriate training programs are available from [WreckMaster Inc.]https://www.wreckmaster.com) and other affiliate programs. Again, training is recommended but not a requirement for TROCP certifications. For those that prefer a written study guide, there are resource guides available on Amazon for both the TROCP and the TRSCP published by the Towing and Recovery Association of America, Inc. (TRAA). Note, you are not required to do either of the above, but both preparation options are available to you if you want them.
Each exam averages 50 to 60 multiple choice questions.
Each test taker will have 60 minutes to complete the exam.
The proctoringfee is included in the registration price for the certification exam attempt. There is no additional cost to the test taker.
