How are the Levels are Structured?
TROCP & TRSCP
The exam levels are split into 2 main tracks, TROCP & TRSCP. The Towing and Recovery Operator Certification Program (TROCP), umbrellas the 3 main levels for operator competency. Light-Duty, Medium-Duty, & Heavy-Duty Towing and Recovery. While the Towing and Recovery Specialist Certification Program (TRSCP) is specifically designed for those employed in support staff roles within the towing and recovery industry. These roles include dispatchers, office managers, administrative staff, scene safety supervisors, compliance directors, non-operator company owners, etc.
NOTE: All of the TROCP & TRSCP Protored Exams are also available for those who require re-certification.

ELECTRIC VEHICLE & T.R.I.P.
Towcert also offers exams for Electric Vehicle Towing & Recovery Certification as well as T.R.I.P. (Towing & Recovery Incentive Program) offered for residents of Virginia and Georgia.
ELECTRIC VEHICLE
CERTIFICATION
This Electric vehicle awareness level certification is a 30 minute non proctored exam designed to validate the knowledge that towing operators acquire through training.
